Description

of the book The History of Nintendo (Vol 2) by Florent Gorges and Isao Yamazaki.

3D version by Itizso @ https://itizso.itch.io/game-and-watch-factory

Mario, working in a Game & Watch factory, must move Game & Watch units through the production facility as they are assembled and then loaded onto trucks for delivery.
The game is played across two screens.
The Game & Watch units start on the upper screen and move along a series of conveyor belts to reach the lower screen. Mario must catch the units as they reach the end of each conveyor and transfer them to the next conveyor. Mario earns 1 point for every unit successfully caught at the end of a conveyor.
Once the Game & Watch units reach the end of the last conveyor on the lower screen Mario will need to catch them and then throw them onto the waiting truck. Mario earns 1 point for every unit loaded on the truck. When the truck is fully loaded, the truck departs and Mario earns 10 bonus points and a short rest, after which the game continues.
The speed and number of units moving across the factory will increase as the score increases. For added difficulty, in Game B, Mario can fall off any platform he is on if moved past the end of the platform. Game B requires more coordination, technique and timing.
A miss is scored when a unit is not caught at the end of a conveyor, and in Game B, when Mario falls off a platform. Score 3 misses and the game ends. When the score reaches 300 or 500 points any misses are cleared. If there are no misses, the game goes into "CHANCE TIME" where all points scored are doubled until the next miss.
